Green Jade Stone
About this product
Green Jade Stone
A rare thing in aquascaping: hardscape with genuine colour. Green Jade carries soft sage and olive tones through a fine crystalline surface, giving you a stone that works with your planting rather than simply framing it.
Usage instructions
- Rinse thoroughly under running water before adding to the aquarium
- Place where light falls directly, as the green tone deepens under good lighting
- Works beautifully with dark substrate, which lifts the green out of the stone
- Use as a focal feature rather than scattering it, since the colour is the point
- Suits nature style, moss heavy and shrimp tank layouts
Recommendations and precautions
- Inert and safe for freshwater tanks, shrimp and live plants
- Sold per kilogram; sizes range from 10 to 30cm
- Colour intensity varies naturally between pieces, from pale sage to deeper olive
- Natural material, so shape, tone and size vary
Why choose Green Jade Stone
Almost every aquascaping rock on the market is grey, black or brown. Green Jade gives you a third option, and it is the reason it commands a premium. In a moss heavy scape or a shrimp tank where green is already the dominant note, it creates a cohesion that grey stone never quite achieves.
⚠️ A note on this natural product
Every stone is one of a kind. Because this is a natural material, its size, shape, texture, colour and mineral markings — and, where sold by weight, the number of pieces you receive — will vary, so the photos are a guide rather than the exact item you'll get. Natural pitting, holes and lighter mineral veining are part of the rock's character, not faults. We can't guarantee a set mix of small, medium or large pieces unless it's arranged with us before purchase.
Want a particular size or shape? Message us before ordering and we'll do our best to hand-pick pieces to suit your scape.
