Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

We want to make shipping as affordable as possible for our aquascaping community.

Free Standard Shipping:

  • Orders $100 AUD or more
    • Free shipping within Western Australia
  • Orders $150 AUD or more
    • Free shipping to all other Australian states and territories

Calculated Shipping: For orders below the free shipping threshold, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and chosen delivery speed. We use Australia Post and Sendle to provide competitive rates.

Delivery Options

Standard Shipping (3-7 business days) Available Australia-wide via Australia Post or Sendle. The most economical option for hardscape materials, substrates, and equipment.

Express Shipping (1-3 business days) Available via Australia Post Express for time-sensitive orders. Recommended for live plants.

Local Delivery - Perth Metro ($10) Available for customers in the Perth metropolitan area. Orders over $100 qualify for free local delivery. Delivery typically within 2-3 business days of dispatch.

About Our Shipping Partners

Australia Post Reliable nationwide coverage with standard and express options. Ideal for most orders with consistent delivery timeframes.

Sendle Often provides more competitive rates for heavy or bulky items such as hardscape stones and large substrate bags. While Sendle is generally reliable, please note that delivery times can occasionally be longer than estimated due to factors beyond our control. We recommend choosing Sendle for cost savings on heavier items when delivery timing is flexible.

At checkout, you'll see pricing from both carriers and can choose the option that best suits your needs and timeline.

Live Plants - Important Information

🌱 Live aquarium plants require special handling and ship separately via Express Post to ensure they arrive fresh and healthy.

What to Expect:

  • Plants are carefully packaged for transit
  • All plants ship via Australia Post Express (regardless of shipping option selected)
  • Typically dispatched within 1-2 business days
  • Delivered within 1-3 business days depending on location
  • Free express shipping applies when your order meets the threshold ($100 WA / $150 Interstate)

Why Express? Live plants are perishable and need to reach you as quickly as possible. Even if you choose standard shipping at checkout, we'll upgrade your plants to express delivery to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.

Processing & Dispatch

Processing Time: 1-2 business days (Monday-Wednesday, excluding WA public holidays)

Orders placed before 2pm AWST on business days are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 2pm or on weekends/public holidays will be processed the next business day.

Tracking Your Order

All shipped orders include tracking. You'll receive:

  • Order confirmation email immediately after purchase
  • Shipping confirmation email with tracking number once dispatched
  • Tracking updates as your order progresses

Track your order through Australia Post or Sendle using the tracking number provided.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to all Australian states and territories.

Please note: Some remote or regional areas may experience extended delivery times or limited carrier options.

Heavy or Bulky Items

Hardscape stones and large substrate bags are heavy items. Shipping costs are calculated based on actual weight and dimensions. We work with both Australia Post and Sendle to provide the most competitive rates for heavier shipments. Sendle typically offers better pricing for these items.
