Possibly just the item I received, but I couldn't for the life of me get the glue up the nozzle. Cut a little lower thinking it may be a blockage, that didn't work, so opened the screw top and the glue was a little thick. Somewhat usable, but only in big chunks due to how thick it is.

A game changer for serious aquascapers

I've been aquascaping for nearly a decade now, and finding the right adhesive has always been one of those small but critical challenges that can make or break a scape. I've tried everything from cheap superglue from the dollar store to expensive imported brands from Japan, and I can honestly say that the School of Scape Aquascaping Glue 50g sits right at the top of my list. The viscosity is spot on – not too runny like some thin CA glues that just drip everywhere and make a mess, and not too thick that it won't penetrate into the crevices of your hardscape. I used it most recently on a nature aquarium style layout with a large Seiryu stone arrangement, attaching fissidens fontanus and mini pellia in tight clusters across the rocks. The gel held them exactly in place while I worked, even with my fingers getting wet every few seconds. Within a couple of hours everything was firming up nicely, and by day 3 you couldn't tell the plants had been glued at all – they were rooting in beautifully. My fish (a small school of ember tetras and some crystal red shrimp) showed zero signs of stress throughout. Water parameters didn't budge. I'll be stocking up on a few bottles of this for my next project.

Best aquascaping glue I've used!

This glue is absolutely fantastic for attaching mosses and anubias to driftwood and rocks. It sets quickly underwater and doesn't cloud the water at all. Will definitely be buying again.

Finally a glue that works for moss walls

Building a moss wall is one of the most rewarding but frustrating things in aquascaping. The number of times I've had carefully placed clumps of christmas moss or flame moss float off into the filter intake before they could attach is honestly too many to count. I had almost given up on the idea entirely when a friend from my local aquascaping club recommended this glue from School of Scape. I was a little skeptical at first because I'd heard similar promises from other products that didn't deliver, but I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I used it to attach patches of weeping moss across a 60cm mesh backing panel, and the difference was night and day compared to anything I'd used before. A small dot of glue, press the moss in for about 15 seconds, and it wasn't going anywhere. I did the whole panel in about 45 minutes, which would have taken me hours using thread alone. What really impressed me was that even after introducing flow back into the tank, not a single patch dislodged. The moss has now been in there for about six weeks and it's growing out beautifully and evenly across the panel. I've since used the same bottle to attach anubias nana petite to some dragon stone, and again it performed flawlessly. The 50g size is also very generous – I've done three major projects and still have more than half the bottle left. Genuinely one of the best purchases I've made for my hobby.

Works perfectly for aquascaping

I used this to attach java fern and java moss to some rocks in my planted tank. It held perfectly and was white at first but turned clear after a couple of hours. Great product!

Solid glue, does the job

Really good quality cyanoacrylate glue. I've tried a few brands and this one from School of Scape is among the best. Bonds quickly and holds firm even in flowing water. Recommended.

Honest review after 3 months of use

I want to give a thorough and honest review of this product after using it consistently across several tanks over the past three months. First, the positives: the glue itself is genuinely high quality. It's a thick gel-type cyanoacrylate which means it stays where you put it rather than running down rocks or driftwood. The curing time is fast – usually around 20 to 30 seconds with a firm press – and the bond strength is excellent once it's fully set. I've used it on anubias, java fern, various mosses, and even some bucephalandra, all with great results. It also appears to be completely safe for livestock; my tank has a healthy colony of neocaridina shrimp that have shown no ill effects whatsoever. Now, a minor criticism: the nozzle on my bottle started to clog after the second or third use, which is a common issue with CA-based glues in general. I've learned to seal the tip with a pin and store it upright in a small container of dry rice to absorb any moisture. That's not really a product flaw so much as the nature of the product, and once I figured out the right storage method it stopped being an issue. Overall, this is a really solid product that delivers consistently good results. For the price and the quantity you get, it's hard to argue with. I'll definitely be buying again and would recommend it to any aquascaper, beginner or experienced.

Great for attaching plants to hardscape

I've been aquascaping for 5 years and this is now my go-to glue. Super easy to use, a tiny amount goes a long way. The 50g size is perfect – I've already done 3 tanks with it and still have plenty left.

Good glue but nozzle clogged

The glue itself is really good quality and bonds plants well. My only issue was the nozzle clogged after a few uses. I had to pierce it with a needle each time. The actual glue though is excellent – no white residue and fish safe.

Used it for my first ever aquascape – brilliant for beginners

I'm relatively new to the aquascaping hobby – I've had fish tanks before but this was my first attempt at a proper planted layout with hardscape and everything. I watched a lot of YouTube tutorials and kept seeing aquascaping glue mentioned as an essential tool. I wasn't sure which brand to go with so I did some research and landed on this one from School of Scape based on the reviews and the fact that it's an Australian company which meant faster shipping for me. I have to say, as a beginner, this glue made the whole process so much less intimidating. I was worried about making mistakes and having plants float away or hardscape not sitting right, but the glue gave me the confidence to just go for it. I attached java moss to a piece of spiderwood, fixed some anubias barteri to a rock formation, and used it to hold a couple of the smaller stones in my layout in place while the substrate set around them. Everything worked exactly as I hoped. The gel texture means it doesn't drip everywhere, and the relatively slow (for CA glue) set time gave me a few extra seconds to adjust positioning if I needed to. My tank has been running for about two months now and everything is looking great. The plants are growing and the fish are happy. I'd recommend this to anyone just starting out – don't overthink it, just get this glue and have fun with your scape.

Very happy with this purchase. I was nervous about using glue in my shrimp tank but after doing some research I went with this one. The shrimp are completely fine and the mosses are holding beautifully to the rocks. 5 stars!

Fast shipping and great product

Arrived quickly and well packaged. The glue itself is exactly what you need for aquascaping – thick enough not to run everywhere, sets in about 30 seconds, and is completely safe for fish and invertebrates. Very impressed.

Perfect for scaping

I have used this on multiple tanks now and it's consistently excellent. Attaches HC cuba, mosses, and ferns without any trouble. Doesn't affect water parameters and the bond is incredibly strong. This is now a permanent item in my aquascaping toolkit.
