Expert Tips from School Of Scape

Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' is the ultimate beginner-friendly plant and a staple in experienced aquascapers' collections alike. Plant directly into nutrient-rich substrate and be patient during establishment - like all Cryptocoryne species, wendtii may experience initial melt when introduced to new conditions, but will recover with vigorous new growth perfectly adapted to your tank parameters. This green variant maintains its fresh, vibrant color across a wide range of conditions and is remarkably tolerant of varying pH levels, thriving in both low-tech and high-tech setups. Root fertilization encourages robust growth and enhanced coloration. Position in midground areas where its natural form can create organic structure and visual interest. Wendtii slowly spreads through runners, gradually filling in your layout with natural, unforced growth. Once established, this plant is virtually indestructible and will reward you with years of reliable beauty and fresh green character.
