Black Rose Lava Rock is a highly porous aquascaping stone that has high versatility in its usage. Scapes diversity ranges from planted tanks, to African Cichlid tanks. This lightweight stone is dark black with reddish-brown undertones, making for a beautiful contrast against dark aquarium gravel. It's highly porous and has been used to help promote an active substrate while also helping raise the height of gravel in aquascapes. Not to mention, it is also widely used as an effective chemical filtration media.
