Aquascaping Tips
Plant small portions 2-3 cm apart to allow spreading and carpet formation. This plant grows slowly but steadily, eventually forming a dense mat. Patience is key—allow several weeks for establishment. Works beautifully in nature aquascapes, iwagumi layouts, and as a soft contrast to hardscape elements. The fine texture pairs exceptionally well with stones and driftwood. Regular misting in emersed setups or stable water parameters in submerged tanks will encourage healthy growth.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate to Advanced - Requires high light, CO2, and patience for establishment. Rewarding for aquascapers seeking unique carpeting plants.

CO2 requirements vary by species. Check the Care Information tab for this specific plant. Many of our plants can thrive without CO2, though growth may be slower.
Most of our aquarium plants are grown submerged (underwater), which means they adapt faster to your tank and are less likely to melt. This gives you stronger roots and instant success. The exception is our terrarium plants, which are grown emersed (above water)
