Description
The L519 Honeycomb Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus sp. L519) is a stunning and highly sought-after freshwater catfish known for its distinctive honeycomb pattern of golden-yellow spots on a dark background. This peaceful bottom-dweller is an excellent addition to well-maintained planted aquariums.
These plecos are relatively small compared to common plecos, typically reaching 10-12cm, making them suitable for medium-sized aquariums. They are primarily nocturnal and appreciate plenty of hiding spots such as caves, driftwood, and rock formations. They're also excellent algae eaters and will help keep your aquarium clean.
