Tissue Culture
AquaDepot Tissue Culture plants are supplied in a sealed container and grown under controlled sterile conditions.
Simply remove the plant from the container, carefully rinse away the nutrient gel, divide it into smaller portions and plant directly into the aquarium substrate.
Tissue culture plants provide a clean and convenient way to introduce healthy aquarium plants while greatly reducing the risk of introducing algae, snails or other unwanted pests into your aquarium.
Aquascaping Applications
Alternanthera reineckii "Red" is ideal for creating colourful focal points within a planted aquarium. Its rich red foliage works particularly well alongside bright green plants, making it an excellent choice for Dutch-style aquascapes, nature aquariums and heavily planted displays.
