Precautions To Use Mountain Stones in Aquarium

• Mountain Stone can be easily broken into smaller pieces with a chisel and hammer.
• A minimum weight may be required if you are looking for larger stones. Larger stones = higher weight. Email us for more assistance.

• Stone colouration darkens when wet.

Is Mountain Stone safe for aquariums?

Mountain stone is an excellent choice for creating cave aquascapes, canyon-style hardscapes, and mountain terrain hardscape layouts.

Does Mountain Stone affect water parameters?

While rocks like dragon or lava stones do not affect the water quality, especially those with a beautifully rough surface like Grey Mountain Stone or Seiryu Rock, they contain a little lime and thus may harden the water.
