About this fish
Golden White Cloud Mountain Minnow is a peaceful, hardy schooling fish known for its bright golden body, subtle red accents, and active swimming behaviour. This colourful variation of the classic White Cloud Mountain Minnow adds movement and warmth to community aquariums, making it a great choice for both beginner and experienced fish keepers.
This species does best when kept in groups, where their natural schooling behaviour can be seen. They are generally peaceful and can be housed with other small, non-aggressive community fish. Golden White Clouds are highly adaptable and hardy and can be kept in both coldwater and tropical aquariums, they thrive best in stable, well-maintained aquariums with good filtration and plenty of swimming space.
Their smaller size and active nature make them ideal for planted tanks, nano aquariums, and peaceful community setups. A darker substrate and live plants can help bring out their golden colouration beautifully.
