Care requirements

  • Care level: Moderate
  • Adult size: 8 cm
  • Temperature: 24 to 29°C
  • pH: 5.5 to 7.0
  • Swimming level: Bottom to middle
  • Minimum group size: Pair or trio

Feeding:
Prefers quality pellets, frozen foods, and live foods including bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. A protein-rich varied diet helps maintain colour and health.

Compatibility:
Generally peaceful but territorial during breeding. Best kept with calm schooling fish and peaceful bottom dwellers in well-structured aquariums.

School of Scape quality:
We select healthy, active fish and recommend heavily planted aquariums with caves, driftwood, and stable water conditions for best results. Ensure a gradual acclimation to minimise stress to your new fish.
